Why does my account status say "pending"?
After you register, your account status will remain "pending" until your email address is verified. Your email address is verified and your account validated once you click on the link in the email you receive from us. (This email will come from ckyx@m2omedia.com.) You can still earn Rock Star Points while you are waiting for your account to be validated. You will not, however, be able to claim any prizes or purchase raffle entries until your account status is valid.

I did not receive an email asking me to validate my account. What should I do?
If you did not receive an email from us and your account is still pending, please follow these instructions:

  • Open your internet browser and log on to your account
  • Click on this link or copy and paste this link into the browser that you opened to log into your account: http://www.m2omedia.com/ckyx/members/account/pending.jsp
  • This will bring you to a page with instructions on how to validate your account

In order to ensure that you receive emails from us in the future, please add ckyx@m2omedia.com to your contact list.

What should I do if I'm having trouble logging into my account?
If you're having trouble logging into your account, please try the following solutions:

  • Make sure you are using the correct username and password. If you don't remember your username and/or password, click here, enter your email address, and we'll email it to you.
  • Clear your cache. Cache is a process that keeps track of what you have been doing recently. It saves you processing time when you repeat tasks; but sometimes it gets overloaded. Click here for instructions on how to clear your cache.
  • Internet Explorer users:
    • Check your security settings. Your internet security settings must be set to "medium". Click here for instructions on checking your security settings.
    • Check your privacy settings. Your internet privacy settings must be set to "medium". Click here for instructions on how to change your privacy settings.
    • You may have to add us to your trusted sites. Click here for instructions on adding us to your trusted site.

What is the difference between a All Access Password and a Bonus Code?
The All Access Password is given out at various times. Your have until 11:59pm of the day it is given out to enter it. A Bonus Code is given out through e-mails and special giveaways and events. Please check when receiving a bonus code to see if there is an expiration date.

How do I earn Rock Star Points?

Go to the 97.9 ROCK website and click on the 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club link. Enter your username and password in the login box on the left hand side of the page. Once you've logged in, click on one of the categories under Earn Rock Star Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

How do I use my Rock Star Points to earn Rewards? There are two ways to earn rewards with your Rock Star Points. You can redeem Rock Star Points for goods and services that are offered on the Rock Shop page or you can redeem Rock Star Points for entries into our Rock Raffle Drawings. To access either the Rock Shop or Rock Raffle page, log in and click on one of the categories under Spend Rock Star Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

Rock Shop: All prizes on the Rock Shop page are on a first come, first serve basis. The 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club Rock Shop Page lists all of the available prizes and their associated Rock Star Point value. Once you have earned enough Rock Star Points to "purchase" the prize of your choice you may "buy" the prize by logging in and visiting the Rock Shop Page. Then just enter the quantity of the prize you want (please note, some prizes may have a quantity limit of 1 per member), and click "Buy". If you have enough Rock Star Points, haven't exceeded the purchase limit, and inventory is sufficient, a page will come up which confirms your purchase and provides you with instructions on how to claim your prize. IMPORTANT NOTE: upon making a prize purchase, be sure to print off a copy of your confirmation page.

Rock Raffles: You can enter any of our Rock Raffles as many times as you wish (as long as you have enough Rock Star Points). To purchase an entry into the Rock Raffle of your choice, please visit the Upcoming Rock Raffles page, click on the drawing you'd like to enter, select the number of entries you'd like to purchase, and click the "Purchase Entries" button. Remember, the more entries you have, the better your chances of winning!

What do I need to play the 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club?
The 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club will run on any machine running Internet Explorer 6.0 or Netscape 7.0 or above. You will also need Internet access. The 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club is not supported on Web TV.

Can I join the 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club if I have a Macintosh computer?
The 97.9 ROCK Star VIP Club Program can be played on any Macintosh running Netscape versions 7.0 and above.

Instructions for Clearing Cache:

Netscape Users (must be using Netscape 7.0 or higher):

  • Enter Netscape
  • Edit
  • Preferences
  • Advanced
  • Cache
  • Clear memory cache
  • Clear Disk cache
  • Then Try again

Internet Explorer Users (must be using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher):

  • Enter Internet Explorer
  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • General
  • Delete files ??? located in the "Temporary Internet File" section
  • Then Try again.

If you are using AOL:
You will need to clear you cache AND delete your "cookies"

  • Click the Start Button in the lower left hand corner
  • Click Control Panel
  • Double click Internet Options
  • Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files
  • Click OK to delete files
  • Next, to the right of delete files, click on Settings
  • Click View Files (it may take a moment for the files to appear)
  • Click the EDIT pull down menu at the very top of your screen
  • Click Select All
  • Click the FILE pull down menu at the very top of your screen
  • Click Delete
  • A warning box will appear, click YES
  • Click X to close that window
  • Click OK to close the next window
  • Click OK to close the next window
  • Click X to close the Control Panel Window
  • After you have cleared your cache, and/or deleted cookies, close all programs, shut down your computer and log on again.

Instructions for checking Security Settings in Internet Explorer:

  • Enter Internet Explorer

  • Make sure that your security setting is set to Medium as shown below:

Instructions for adding us to your Trusted Sites:

  • Enter Internet Explorer
  • Internet Options
  • Privacy
  • Select the "Sites" button from the middle of the page.
  • In the area where it says "Address of Web Site", type "m2omedia.com" and click "Allow"

If you can't print the page, you can't redeem the offer. Offer is non-transferable. Please print all three pages.
